Typical allergy /hay-fever symptoms?
I have an allergy to tree pollen.For the past three days I have had post nasal drip,itch in the throat,runny nose,sneezing.Yesterday the right side of my throat started hurting from the coughing,and today my head feels like it is stuffed with Cotton and my right ear feels stuffed up.Are these typical allergy symptoms?Also what is a good product for all of these symptoms-and no clariten or Zyrtec they do not work for me I have tried.I am currently just using Nyquil at night and NyQuil during the day or an antihistamine tablet(generic).GOD-bless
What you are describing is definately typical allergy symptoms. Claritin and Zyrtec do not work for me either. Benadryl by itself works occassionally, but only after I already have experienced symptoms. I was told by a doctor to take 2 Benadryl tablets and 2 Chlor Tabs at the first sign of symptoms, and when I do, the symptoms clear up within 15 minutes. I was later told that taking 2 Chlor Tabs in the morning and two at bed time could prevent the symptoms, and they did. Chlor Tabs are available Over The Counter and I buy mine at Walmart.
Don’t take Nyquil for allergies, it won’t do you any good and can actually make your symptoms worse. Instead, try Tylenol Severe Allergy And Sinus Congestion (Equate at Walmart brand makes a fabulous one as well) and that will help big time instead of the Nyquil. Get yourself some Simalsin Earache relief drops and put two drops in each ear at night with a half a cotton ball to relieve that “stuffed up” feeling in your ears. You can also use them periodically throughout the day any time your ear is acting up. If you experience eye itchiness, use a redness relief eye drop, I love Roto V Cool, it’s the best I’ve found for my symptoms.
